Yep, you heard me right... only 6 more sleeps until we FINALLY board that plane to our precious Khloe! It's hard to believe that after all this time, we are actually counting down the final days to our daughter! For those of you who have been following us for awhile now, you KNOW how much I have been longing to hold her. We've been 'matched' since June of last year, so this has truly been one long wait! But we do trust that this is the exact time that God has planned for us to travel all along, and we know when we finally see our daughter in person for the first time, that His timing will feel perfect to us, as well!
We also want to give one more shout-out of "THANKS!" to every single one of you who have walked this journey with us and for helping us raise some of the funds needed to bring our precious daughter home. Thanks to everyone's contributions, both through our Chip-In and mail-in donations, we raised nearly $2800 and feel SO blessed by the unconditional love and support we have been given along the way. We have a new 'Chip-In' button up for the remainder of the week, as we've had a few requests to put one back up so some that wanted to could still donate. We are so grateful to EACH of you and pray that God richly blesses you in return for your giving hearts!! And if you haven't already done so, be sure to check Khloe's Fundraiser Blog to see who the lucky raffle prize winners were!
Also a quick prayer request... It turns out that my allergies broke down my immune system enough for a bad sinus and ear infection to sneak in. The resulting fatigue and headaches have been really hard to work through. We are SO busy right now getting ready for our trip and I really cannot slow down, so please pray that the prescribtion starts to work soon and that the symptoms all go away. We all need our health right now more than ever, so please do keep us in your prayers.
I will keep you posted on our itinerary in the days ahead. It's almost hard to belive that our turn has come! EXCITING TIMES!!

I haven't commented on your blog before, but last year I ran into the New Day site and thought that your Chloe was gorgeous. Then I found your blog and was so happy to see her family. Have a blessed trip! (We've done it twice and it's such an amazing thing!)

Rejoicing along with you that the time has finally come! Praise Jesus! I will pray for a quick recovery for you, I've had an ear infection 1 time as an adult and the pain was awful, I know your so excited but try to get some rest before your trip to you can heal.

Oh my gosh! I can not think of another soul that I would rather see get on that plane and go to China! I am so very excited for you guys! You have been such a sweet friend, encouraging me every step of my journey. I appreciate you more than you know. I can NOT wait to follow your journey to sweet Khloe, and I will be praying for you the whole time! YAY! IT'S FINALLY HERE!
You are getting So close. Can you even believe it? Khloe is even more beautiful in person. She is VERY shy so I wasn't able to get too close to her. I didn't want to scare her. I was able to get some pictures of her though and will get those to you in the next couple of days.
I am so excited for you. We have been so blessed and I cannot wait for you to share in those blessings.

Oh we are SO excited for you guys! And I hope that you start to feel better quickly. Thankfully it hit HERE and not as soon as you boarded the plane and relaxed just enough to let your defenses down! I am so excited for you...you have no idea. I have chills all over just thinking about you finally boarding that plane to go half way around the world to finally hold your daughter in your arms. It has been such a very long time for you. But it is true when they say that all of that pain seems to just melt when you finally see your sweet Khloe for the first time. I have been praying for this moment for you for so long. I will be pacing the floors when you are in China waiting for Gotcha day...heck...I'm pacing the floors now.

Oh, WOW, and since I am just reading this now on the 8th, it's only THREE MORe sleeps! I am so, so thrilled for you! I can't wait to see Khloe with her mama!
Sadly, you'll miss Liam- his family arrives for him on the 10th! But, happily, he'll have his FAMILY! Big, big week at New Day!!! It will be so strange to not see Khloe or Liam there anymore- but SO SO wonderful to see Khloe HERE form now on!!!!! :)
