Our Birthday Princess!!

Last Friday, NewDay celebrated their February birthdays. There were 3 "guests of honor" for this month. Evan turned 3, and both Khloe and Samuel turned 2! Khloe was the only Princess this month, and I think she fit the part well!! :) A few weeks ago we sent her a care package that included her special "Birthday Girl" dress and and a present to open at her party. The contents are shown below. We have also included a musical card with every gift she has received from us, so this one was no exception. I'm sure the nannies are just love'in me for it, too!! LOL! When I picked out this dress for Khloe, I was hoping she would be HOME to wear it. But it's clear now that just wasn't part of God's plan, so I decided to send it to her in hopes that she could wear it for her party there. The wonderful staff made sure that she did, and what a Cutie-Pie Princess she was indeed!! I probably should've skipped sending the matching headband, since she was wearing the "honorary princess" crown for her party. But it appears she did just fine with the double-layered hair accessories! ;) We are so blessed to know she was able to have such a fun party at the foster home. Khloe was sick during her first b-day party, so she was unable to attend. That made this year's party even more priceless to me, as I know it is the only birthday celebration she will have at the foster home. From the cute photos to the videos...they did a wonderful job capturing her special day for us. We are so grateful, as we know that Khloe will treasure these one day herself!

Now that Khloe is two, she has begun NewDay's preschool classes where she will be taught some English. We are so grateful for this, as we know that it will help her learn the basics and transition a little easier. Karen tells me that she should be very happy in there, as she was always trying to sneak in before she was old enough! What's a girl to do when one of her best buddies (Annie) was in there without her!?! ;) No matter what language Khloe is speaking, I just LOVE to hear her sweet little voice! These photos and videos are all such priceless gifts that we will treasure always... and I know Khloe will greatly appreciate as she grows older, too!
