We have so much to be grateful for with our Khloe being at NewDay... and amongst those are the monthly updates we are blessed to receive, along with the countless photos posted on their blog and website. We do know this isn't the 'norm' and try not to take it for granted. But even though we are blessed with so many great photos and even some short video clips on the blog, we are always so excited to receive new pictures and updates. We seriously need our Khloe fix, especially as the time draws more near for our travels to bring her home.
Recently we sent a care package to our sweet girl. There was some delay in it getting there, due to the CNY; but as I suspected, it arrived earlier this week...safe and sound! This is the first package we were allowed to send on our own and it included Khloe's first ever photo album of her new family. Up until this point, she did not know of us, so this was a VERY special moment! You can imagine my delight when I received some incredibly precious photos in my inbox from NewDay yesterday.

Along with her photo album, we sent a few gifts. Her birthday present is being saved for the big February Birthday Celebration set for the end of this week. But she did get to open her belated Valentine's present, which included a new outfit, a flashy spinning light-up toy, her musical card and some yummy animal crackers, as I know how much our girl loves to eat!! ;)

Oh her soft little voice and little face saying "mama" IS SO VERY SWEET!--she is such a doll! It is so hard to believe that until now she did not know about you guys! (I know there are rules etc. thankfully there is prayer that goes beyond any of those rules.) It just blows me away though! I can only imagine how excited you are getting being this close to travel! What a beautiful way to grow a family and to allow us all to watch it happen is even icing on the cake :-)

I should never have watched those videos at work!!Oh, I was tearing up at her sweet little voice and the precious moment when she saw Moma and Baba for the first time. You must be so thrilled to have those precious memories. She is so cute in her new pink outfit too! Any word on TA? She is such a blessing, no doubt!

Oh my friend you are so very blessed....I love her little feet and her precious little pigtails...her little voice is just the cherry on the cake isn't it? I know you just want to reach into these pictures and scoop her out and love on her forever. It is coming...it is so close....He is in control. Oh I can't wait for you to leave!
She knows who you are and that you are coming! She is being prepared for her new life and her new family. My heart is so full of joy as I watch this video of your little darling seeing your faces for the first time. I go to my knees now Tanya, to give Praise to our Father and to ask him to make the transition for Chloe as easy as possible and that she would accept her new family the way that Christ has accepted us into his family. Completely.

Well how cool is that! She's a little doll! When I watched the video, it brought reality to life. It never occurred to me that she speaks Chinese, and will have to learn English when she gets here! How exciting and yet challenging that will be. At least she's at a young age, and I'm sure it will come easy to her. I am so happy and excited for you!

I just had to go back today and take another peek at Khloe's video. She is in my daily prayers now, asking God to prepare her heart and allow her to open it to her new family and heal it at the same time as we know she will need time for that. I am so excited to finally see her in your arms and I have to say... after watching that video, is BaBa ready for his whole body to turn to MUSH???? She must have pointed to him and said BaBa 6 times during the video with her book! It made my heart stop!! She is SOOO sweet!! I know you must be crazy busy! Crazy excited and Crazy overwhelmed!
