Well, I must admit ~ this week has been a bit challenging for me posting something new each day; but fun at the same time. I will likely take a break for the weekend, and hopefully come up with a post or two for next week. But in the meantime, I leave you with "Fishy Friday"! :)
Last weekend my son really wanted to try some fishing off the shores of this tiny little lake about 5-10 minutes away. Now mind you, Minnesota is known as "The Land of 10,000 Lakes" so, I'm pretty sure this little water hole isn't even on our map! But it was still a relaxing time with the family and we all had some fun snagging the pan fish. We didn't catch enough for a good fry though, so we released them all back into the water and then headed out to a restaurant for dinner. The R&R with the family made for a nice ending to a beautiful day! Oh, and I should mention, though my bragging rights are "small" ~ I brought in the biggest catch of the day... a nice lil' sunny! LOL!! :)

Looks like fun!! And I'm sure you hear this all the time but Breanna is a mirror image of you.
Oh, my! Is Breanna ever a mirror image of you! I saw a picture of her and then a picture of you next and I had to look a few times because I thought it was Breanna. Two BEAUTIFUL woman!!! By the way-did Breanna get her braces off? Loved the post. I keep telling myself to go fishing when I'm at the cabin. Maybe Labor day weekend I'll remember and do it! Certainly a thrill to it.
I had to keep looking at the pictures - I can't tell you and Breanna apart!! You look like sisters! :)

We just had MN sunnies for supper 2 nights ago (from this summer's catch)--Mmmmmm--you make me wanna go back for some fall fishing :-)
And you look so much like your daughter, er, she looks so much like you! I did a double take too! That is so cool. I was going to do a post on that as I look a bit like my mom too. How fun.

I hate to be a repeat but gosh you and your daughter could be identical twins!! I too had to do a double take. Wow!!
You guys look like you had a great time fishing. Sounds just like an outing me and my hubby would take. I have enjoyed reading your posts this week about your family. They are a great looking crowd. Can't wait to see Khloe on these family trips. As always we are praying for her. Take care!!

What a fun post! Love the photos, and I'll agree with everyone else, you and Breanna look so much alike, you look like sisters!
I love to fish, including doing the bait, and unhooking them, and yes, even cleaning them! Then again, I'm not quite a girly girl. Deep sea fishing is what I love best, you sometimes don't quite know what you're going to get.
Can't wait to see how Khloe likes fishing!

You do look quite "rugged" in that photo but come on...I bait my own hook. I will put worms on but not minnows or leaches, ugh! great pictures, looks like you all had fun. We've been doing a lot of fishing this summer...Ryan LOVES fishing and his favorite part is digging the worms and giving everyone a worm when they need a new one...quite comical! By the way, I've always known that you could pull off the rugged look when you want to! LOL Love ya!
