So here are 5 things that I am particularly thankful for this week:
  1. First and foremost, I am grateful for our Lord who has sustained me through some of the toughest times, and poured out His blessing upon my life. I don't know how I could survive without Him. He is my rock and my fortress, and in Him I place my trust!! <><
  2. As most of you know, I have been having a bit of an emotional week missing my Khloe...but I am thankful to know that she is in a WONDERFUL PLACE until we can bring her home.
  3. I am SOOOOOOOOOO thankful for my AMAZING bloggy friends (Yes!...that would be YOU!) I cannot believe how blessed I have been to travel down this journey with all of you by my side. You are truly a gift and I honestly cannot find enough words to express my gratitude for your unfailing love, support, prayers and friendships.
  4. I am grateful for my husband, Martin. He is such a hard worker and is my greatest support. He is an incredible father to our children, and always strives to put us first in his life. You will never see this man choose watching TV over quality time with his family!! I am so blessed to have had him by my side since we were really just kids... we have quite literally grown up together, and that is truly a gift!!
  5. I am grateful for our small community and the neighborhood we live in. We have been blessed with great neighbors and a safe place to raise our family...and that in itself is a huge blessing worthy of giving thanks for!!

There is so much to be thankful for! I love your list and I so agree the bloggy friends have helped us through our waits. Even though we are on the special needs fast track it just isn't fast enough.

What a blessing to have a great neighborhood! I bet your neighbors are excited for you!

I am so glad you joined in with us to give the glory to God!

Hey, have you been keeping a journal (besides the blog) with all of your thoughts and prayers and with the details that are unfolding for Khloe? If not - start one!

I kept a journal and wrote down so many things that I have forgotten over the years. When I look back to the journal it is so precious to me. When my adopted Valerie turns 16 I plan to give the journal to her so she can know how badly we wanted to adopt her and she can see how things unfolded. We also purchased some "Russian" trinkets while we were there and she'll be given those as well.

Praying for you today!
Sonya Lee
PS. Loved your comment on my blog, too about our similarities!!

Thank you for sharing your blessings! Sounds like you do have a lot to be thankful for. And although I only know you through the blogging world, I am sure that many people are thanking God for you! The love of Christ truly shines through the words your share in your blog and the comments you give to your fellow bloggy friends. Thank you for being an inspirational sister in Christ!
