I know everyone experiences them. Stormy seasons are a part of life. They are a part of our refining process, that makes us who we are in Christ. We all go through those 'seasons' in life when the world seems to be coming at us from all angles. I find it hard to write about those times here on my public blog. It's a place that I have wanted to keep as positive and encouraging as possible. But I realize that details aren't always necessary when we ask others to pray... God knows the details. So rather than just staying abscent, I will confess that I've been in the midst of one of those seasons. Nothing earth-shattering. Just a tough season. I'm just so grateful that God is my refuge, and my ever-present help in times of trouble! And Praise the Lord, His mercies are new EVERY morning!! <><
So before I jump back in and try to catch up on my blog posts again, (and share more of that adorable little face you've all been dying to see more of!) ...I just thought I'd let you know why I've stayed away for so long. But I also wanted to take this moment to thank you for your many prayers and encouraging words for my uncle and my BFF (previous post) ~ as I know they have been felt and are so greatly appreciated by all of us!
This praise song by Hillsong really ministered to my heart, and so I thought incase you are needing some encouraging today, you might enjoy it as well. Be blessed...

You have been missed (and that sweet little face we are dying to see more of).
Thank you for trusting us to pray for you!
Love & Blessings from Hong Kong,

I'm still praying, sweet sister! Happy to see you back online, though!
I wrote this post quite awhile ago, but I think it's still applicable and will still speak volumes to you (as it does to me every time I read it).

I love you! Have fun at Sherwin's today :)
I am so sorry I haven't checked in on you. When I read that you had been going through some difficult times my heart sank. I've been so consumed with my own issues I haven't thought of your's. I'm sorry my friend. Rest assured ...now I will be covering your family with prayers and believing God to show you grace. Please let me know if I can do anything for you. Big hugs!!!!
Love how you mentioned that these seasons are a "refining process". How true ... painful at times ... but true!
Praying for you to reach smoother fields soon. Many hugs! (And can't wait for updated Easter photos of Miss Khloe!)
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing your heart. You know I can relate! It is painful being in the winter season..... but I keep remembering what the Chapmans shared at their concert last September, Spring is coming!! And it is here and hopefully there will be Spring in our hearts again.
Can't wait to see Khloe and all that she has been up to!
Tanya,
I'm going through one of those seasons right now. The refining process can be a difficult one to endure but the Lord always has a greater plan for our lives and He is faithful to His promises.
Praying for Sonshine.
I have missed you too! Thank you for your honesty...praying for you!

Oh, Tanya! Praying for you! Whatever the details of this season you're going through, know the Lord is molding you into His image as you go through it. As you said, it's a refining process, and one that isn't always pleasant. Please let me know if you need anything!
praying for your time in this season and that God will show Himself in such a big way for you and your family.
Oh Tanya,
So feeling that season. Instead of being quiet on my blog, my posts have been mostly just light hearted and pictures...
But I understand the season!
Been thinking about you and hoping to see you at upcoming playgroup events this spring and summer.
Seasons- some are great and some are, well... not so great... Praying that the sunshine fills your days.
You are wonderful and have a heart of gold! Sending prayers your way!
(((hugs)))

I love your honesty, your heart and your wisdom. For it is by sharing our own tough times that we help others through theirs! Just l0ok how many commented that they are feeling the same way! And while everyone's season can represent a different kind of hardship or trial, they are all of equal importance to our Father who can get us through absolutely anything! Tanya, you are such a rock, such a faithful and loving person always giving God the glory always building people up and always filling people with your ever present wisdom and faithfulness!!! It is an honor to pray for you and your family during this time. Much love, Mary
Love you sweet friend....wish I was there in person to give you big hugs. I always thank God for new seasons in my life;)
