Our "American Girl" ~ Birthday Celebrations {Part-1}

As Promised...  I'm back with the good stuff!!!

{WHEWWW!}

Yes, that was me ...taking a deep ol' breath.  A sigh of relief, you might say.  I'm glad to be back.  But as I looked back over my past few posts, it's all just no-fun, heavy-sort-of-stuff.  Though we're still making our way out of one of those "seasons" ~ it's time to press forward.  Thank you ALL for your kind words of support in your comments and emails.  EVERY single one of them meant the world to me.  You peeps are the best!!  Your friendship is priceless, as are your prayers.

Seriously... God has blessed me greatly with each one of you.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

<><

So here's to moving forward... and bringing some *happy* back!!  :)

And no better way to bring on those smiles when you pop in for a visit, then to give you some of that wayyyyy-overdue "eye candy" I promised of Khloe!  Since our computer was down shortly after her birthday, I never did get those photos posted.  Very sad, considering those celebrations were back in February.  But they're so cute and totally worth posting about even now.  Afterall, it may have been her 3rd Birthday... but it was her FIRST at home with us; so I don't want to forget a single moment!  We had a FEW celebrations at various times, both at home and with family and friends.  Let's just say, our girl was count'in down the days to every single one of them!

This post is of her actual birthday (February 8th.)  We started the day off with a shopping trip to the MOA {that would be "Mall of America" for you non-Minnesotan readers} with my lil' sister, Kami and her two youngest sons.  Khloe was ready to go from the moment she woke up!  She was already aware that some brand new 'wah-wahs' (baby dolls) were in her very near future!!

See for yourself how excited she was.....

Modeling her adorable new "Hello Kitty" birthday outfit, made by my friend Robin.
She was also excited to carry her matching HK purse, gifted to her at Christmas by one of her previous (and VERY special!) NDFH sponsors, Melissa.

Our little "American Girl" all ready to shop!
...the cutest 'dolly' in the entire store, I might add!!

Getting right down to business!

Testing out the merchandise.

Cousin Colin, patiently looks on.

Posing with her dolly of choice.

She got TWINS!! ~ Bitty Baby twins, that is!  ;)

Khloe and Mommy outside of the American Girl Store at MOA.

Happy Birthday, my little princess!

Cousin Colin was so patient with all of us girlies in the AG Store, that we just had to vist the newly rebuilt LegoLand, too!

Khloe takes care of Baby Ethan while Aunt Kami and Colin shop for Legos.

Lego "Woody" was pretty cool!!

Needless to say, after a few more stops and an over-stimulated shortcut through Nickelodeon Universe, the kiddos were getting pretty tuckered out and we needed to make our way back home before the infamous 'rush hour' traffic set in; so we decided to call it a day.

...Afterall, it was well past some nap times!! ;)

Khloe and Colin all shopped out!

To be continued...

How much fun!! My daughter would go crazy in that store! She got the same bitty twins for Christmas last year. She picked the dark haired/olive complexion ones...she said that they were "tan" like her! Ha!
