Many of you already know about Scarlet Threads. Others may have noticed their 'button' on my side bar. But for those of you who are just learning of them now, allow me tell you a little about 'who' they are and 'what' they do/offer!
Scarlet Threads is a compassionate boutique, specializing in unique products designed and produced by talented seamstresses in rural Asia. My personal favorites are their aprons... thus my beautiful 'models' above, sporting the LIMITED EDITION Savannah for adults and children. They make the perfect gift for everything from bridal showers, holidays (think Valentine's and Mother's Day!), birthdays and pretty much any other special occasion you can think of. And I'm pretty certain they will help make you a better cook and more productive in the kitchen! ;) All Scarlet Threads products are fairly traded and created in compliance with their core vision and values. When you purchase one of their beautiful, hand-crafted items, you become part of their story, by providing women with SAFE and REWARDING work!! The RESULT: Dignity. Which is always beautiful and NEVER goes out of style!
Please view Carrie's story here, to see how your purchases and support are already making an impactful difference in the lives of these women.

I am hoping to get one of those aprons YOUR Khloe is modeling for MY Chloe! :) I bought myself the Savannah for Christmas (I'm generous like that! :) ), and my Chloe loves to be matching!!
But, I really came over here to tell you that I was SO encouraged by the comment you made on Kelly's blog (on her post about feeling so DUE and waiting for the next WC list to come out). I'm feeling the same way, and I think I'm starting to bore every one with my "watched pot" syndrome! :) But, I feel VERY expectant too (which is strange considering our situation), and your comment was an encouragement to me. You definitely have the gift of encouragement because you have been so encouraging through this whole process for me! I just wanted to say "Thanks", and God is using you in the lives of us waiting mamas!! :)
Since I won a Scarlet Thread Apron already via the website I think I'm not qualified to enter this time ... but I look forward to making a blog post about it to get the word out. So cool of you to do this! I think everyone needs at least one in their kitchen! They just keep coming out with cuter and cuter ones! Love the photo of Briana in hers and look forward to little Miss Khloe in hers :-)
Blessings
Okay, It is Breanna ... and there is a photo of Khloe. Oh my. I'm not feeling well! Please forgive me. The "yuckies" hit me last night. Apparently it's affecting my brain. I'm stepping away from the computer and going back to the couch!
Arg - my computer crashed in the middle of my comment.
I hope people who randomly stumble here from Haiti via Jacob and Carrie's blog are allowed to enter.
I've joined Follower Thingy with both your blogs. (and put them directly into my RSS reader to make sure they show up)
I've put the button on my blog, which will be getting refurbished soon - New Year's Resolution! http://racinette.blogspot.com/
I posted about ST and your giveaway on Facebook. (which is when my computer crashed, but it's there.)
And I'm telling you that my favorites are Molly, Anna and Pheobe. If I could pick one I'd buy it!
Whew - Four entries! Thanks for this fun and inspiring break. Now back to praying and the news.
The Anna apron would be so fun for when my little princess and I bake together. And then shortly I'll have to go and buy two matching little aprons as our Darcy should be home within a month...
I'm glad I found you (and have become a follower) and I because of you I realized that Scarlet Threads had a blog component. I've been checking in since reading about it on Carrie's blog (whom I'm also following).
And something fun, one of my potential travel mates is going to pick up her son who is at New Day. I'm going back through your pictures to see if I see him in any!
Tanya!!!!! Those are so sweet! I love scarlet threads and just keep waiting for the perfect opportunity to order from them. I didn't know they had a button...I'll go and grab it!

First thing first.... I have just discovered that your comments have not been coming through to my email!!! In fact I found 70+ comments waiting to be moderated on my blog and I had no idea!! I have just spent the last hour going through and reading so many of yours which are dated back a few months!!! Such sweet words you left for me!!! I am so sorry if you thought I was purposely not posting them!! I shall have to make an apology on my blog because there were so many!! Thank you for all your words of encouragement!!

I LOVE the Caroline apron. Those are my colors for sure :) Love the photos of your girls :)
So glad that I checked in you today. Life has been crazy here but count me in on this fun giveaway action. If I ever find time to post again, Ill be sure to mention it :0)
Those aprons are awesome! Sadly, I don't wear aprons, and I wouldn't want to put something that gorgeous in a drawer and not ever wear it. So....if you pick my name, can Sherri J. get the apron? I think she would look beautiful in it, and it would help to lift her spirits...
What a wonderful giveaway......so sweet of you to do this!!
The aprons are so cute!! I would pick the Caroline.... I love the combination of blue and brown:)
The girls are such great models!
I like the "Caroline". However, I don't like that, for some reason, I'm not getting your blog updates in my blogroll. Hmmmm. That being said, it's not that I'm not following, it's just that I haven't had significant computer time in quite awhile.
I miss you, sister! Hoping your day is fabulous!
P.S. Your girls are beautiful in their matching aprons :)
Thank you for the comment on my blog and entering my give away. I appreciate you sharing your give away with me.
I love the aprons. I think the Caroline is my favorite.
I also became a follower on your blog!
Hi Tanya!!!
So, count me in for just 3 of the qualifications....a follower of your blog, the Scarlet Threads blog and having their button on my blog.
What a blessing to see Khloe AND Breanna both in matching aprons...worlds apart, yet so knit together. If I didn't know Khloe was still in China, I'd a thought she was home. :0) Only God can bind families together like that. *sigh* He's so awesome
Hi Tanya,
How did I miss this post? I am a follower of your blog and now follow Scarlet Thread. I amputting their button on my blogs right after this!!
I love their Savannah aprons for Gabby and I. The cutest thing though is the TIGER hat for Jon Jon !!! Oh my goodness he would look so precious in that hat!!
