This week we were blessed to have our very FIRST gift delivered to our daughter. Only, we didn't send it through the mail... it was hand-delivered for us! On Thursday, November 5th, a fellow NewDay adoptive mama traveled to Ch*na to bring home their new son, Nathan. Kelly invited me to mail her a care package for Khloe and said she would hand deliver it for us. Since we had yet been given permission by our agency to send care packages, this was something I was very excited to do. And though we are not yet able to send a photo album with personal photos of our family, we were granted permission to send Khloe's Christmas dress and a few other small items. Since we are now DTC, it won't be long before we are able to send the album, too... but in the meantime, we are so happy we were able to send her these gifts to enjoy.
Thank you to Kelly for offering to do this for us. We feel so blessed and we cannot thank you enough! We are so excited that you now have your precious Nathan in your arms. He is such a handsome little guy!! :)

Oh, her LIPS!!! I can't stand her leopard print outfit?!?!??! (can't stand as in -do they make that in MY size?)Anyways, I digress - she IS adorable!! Oh my goodness! Those pictures made me tear up! We too sent a care package to our son in ET. The hardest part though was seeing him surrounded by all of the other waiting children. Sigh. BROKE my heart! I can't wait to bring goodies and treats for them when we travel. Can't wait to see your beauty girl wrapped in your loving arms!

I could hardly even read the rest of the post after the first photo through the tears in my eyes. Just precious. It blessed me to see it. She is absolutely sooooo cute. Was she wearing leopard print on her sleeves before she changed into her princess Christmas dress? Girl's got style!! I had planned to work on her "Good Wish" tonight and ran out of time so I will try to very soon.

Awww...this made me cry. I'm sure it was quite bittersweet seeing the photos of little Khloe opening your gifts, having feelings of joy seeing her happy but also feelings of heartache longing to be with her and give her the gift in person. What sweet pictures. She's so beautiful! I'm so happy for you that you were able to get the pictures. I know you love her more and more...and at the same time, getting the pictures makes you sad because you want to go get her now. I know the feeling. You are so blessed to have them for her baby book. It won't be much longer and before we know it, you will be journaling in China. I can't wait!
